i'm not sure if this shop is still around.  it is one of my favorites.  lief, the guy in the shop was so kind.  he also made these.

i found this tarred hemp marline a few years ago in stockholm.  it has a pleasantly earthy, medicinal smell.  it also ties beautifully with a mild waxy texture.  i keep this bit i have left in my office at home. learn more about it here.
